Statement on Social Justice and Equality

We, as a nation, have a crisis of inequality in income, health care, education and economic opportunity. We have a catastrophe in our courts and leadership in our government. Cries for justice and fairness have gone unanswered for far too long.

Acts of brutality and racism have recently been witnessed across our nation. However, paralleled and similar acts of cruelty and bigotry have existed in our country for years and continue. Racism and hate in any form is unacceptable, and any such behavior, whether deliberate or unconscious, must not and cannot be accepted or tolerated.

It is our solemn promise and undertaking to stand for social justice. We stand for fairness and equal opportunity for all…equality in privilege, benefits, activity and all other facets of our society. We stand in solidarity with our community against racism, prejudice, marginalization, antagonism and discrimination.

Our law firm was founded on, and for more than half a century our law firm has dedicated itself, to advocacy and the basic human rights of our clients. We continue to serve that mission. We are committed to calling for, and exemplifying, justice and equality for all in our communities, in our region, our Commonwealth, our nation and beyond. It is our duty to listen, to learn, to support, to correct and to make a difference. We are committed to that duty and are dedicated to carrying it out with diligence and perseverance.
